MRGPRX2 INHIBITOR - AB102

AB102 is an investigational, oral, small molecule MRGPRX2 antagonist designed to provide selective and potent inhibition of this receptor, which could reduce mast-cell induced inflammatory responses.

MRGPRX2 is a mast cell-specific receptor that drives a pseudoallergic, or non-IgE-mediated, inflammatory response. This receptor serves as a critical link between the immune and the nervous system. By promoting both inflammation and itch, MRGPRX2 contributes to key symptoms that are common across multiple allergic diseases. Arcus will investigate AB102 in atopic dermatitis (eczema) and chronic spontaneous urticaria.
